HARDTACK (Unleavened Bread)

MIX:
1 cup water
4 tablespoons oil
2 2⁄3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt

ADD:
2 1⁄3 cups whole wheat flour

STIR well.

ROLL out dough to 1⁄4-inch thickness.
CUT into 2-inch squares.
POKE several holes in each square with a fork.

BAKE 35 minutes at 350 degrees
Makes approximately 20 crackers
